The other day when Tsarina and I were in the grocery store, she spotted some rhubarb by the berry display and asked if I would make her a strawberry-rhubarb pie. Since winter was doing its dangedest to hold on, I figured we all needed a taste of spring. So even though it was the kind of week when there was barely time to breathe, let alone bake, I made it happen.
I am so very glad that I did.
And … um … so was everyone else.
