While I can’t claim authorship of any of the fabulous books in the picture, I am proud to call the following stories my own. Want to read an excerpt? Just click on the title!
*** Golden Heart Finalist under the title Don’t Trust A Man With Your Bra In His Hand! ***
Twelve years ago, on their last night as counselors at Camp Overlook, Libby Kovak gave Sam Catalano her heart, her trust, and what remained of her virginity after a summer of make-out sessions. Huddled together on a blanket by the shore of the St. Lawrence river they planned a future that included everything their eighteen-year-old hearts desired: teaching for her, college hockey for him, then a return to the camp and each other.
That was before he walked away – just when she needed him most.
Fast forward to the present. Libby is still at camp. Sam is a recently retired NHL MVP, single dad to an adorable toddler, and the new owner of Camp Overlook. The campfire isn’t the only thing sending off sparks this summer …

Hi Kris, just stopped by to say hi. Yes, I know that rhymed, but it was well timed, I’m watching Whinnie the Pooh with my . . . can’t rhyme anymore . . . daughter. I’ll have to check out one of your books. I’m writing one of my own and I’m learning about how to market it when I complete it. It is actually a great way to stall and not actually write, I’ve found. Lots of twitter lately and I tell myself it is to build a platform. I guess it is true, but I’m going to have to finish it at some point, right? Best of luck to you.
Karen, thanks! LOVE the rhymes, and oh, I hear you on the stalling
Sometimes I swear that’s half the battle …
